JP Tavera is a food, lifestyle, and travel photographer based in Mexico City.
His work is driven by a deep interest in atmosphere, detail, and visual storytelling, focusing on the way places, food, and everyday moments are experienced rather than simply documented.
With over a decade of experience, his photography moves between editorial, hospitality, and commercial projects, always with a refined, narrative-led approach. He has collaborated with restaurants, hotels, and creative brands, developing imagery that feels intimate, timeless, and quietly intentional.
JP is the co-founder and visual director of Jpark Studio, a creative studio focused on visual communication and content production for food, travel, and hospitality projects. Through the studio, he works closely with brands to translate concepts, spaces, and experiences into cohesive visual stories.
He previously served as Photo Editor for Food & Wine en Español, where he developed a strong editorial eye and a deep understanding of visual curation, narrative consistency, and the collaborative process behind image-driven storytelling.
